Culture Conflicts?

You may have heard about the anti-Disney campaign I started called ''Inkonfidensiya Kartonista'' (a parody of an 18th century Brazilian revolt) to fight back Disney, which was inspired by the Disney-DeSantis feud in which many conservative Christians fought against Disney for spreading woke ideology.

The idea for an anti-Disney campaign was conceived in late 2024, as I matured into an adult. Originally, my anti-Disney propaganda was about Disney characters brainwashing original cartoon characters with LGBT woke ideology, but after Trump's reelection in which he purged DEI and wokeness, the idea was changed into foreign imperialism reminiscent of the 1899 Philippine-American war. Further, it would have been out of context if it was Disney characters brainwashing children with woke ideology.

At first, I had no idea for an original traditional Catholic character until Aaron Blaise came into the scene. I adapted his character model ''Ophelia'' into a Cebuano Catholic heroine named Catalina Santos, reminiscent of famous saints like Joan of Arc.

We already know that Disney had been very much evil promoting anti-Christianity reminiscent of the Jacobins, Bolsheviks and Nazis.

In my anti-Disney propaganda cartoons/fan-fictions, most of my characters are Roman Catholic, with the minorities coming from Russian Orthodox, Muslims and Buddhists who ally with Russian characters fighting against Disney characters who are depicted as wicked people who persecute and kill Catholics, do horrible scenes like blasphemy and desecrate churches, which is an allegory of Disney being anti-Christian.

The Sacred Heart badge is also a symbol of the anti-Disney resistance, because the Sacred Heart was the symbol of Catholic resistance movements, like the peasants of Vendee, Andreas Hofer and Tyrol, the Mexican Cristeros, as well as the Spanish Carlists. The Russian Mandylion (Holy Face) pictured above is also a symbol of the resistance, as with the Cebuano Nationalist flag, originally the flag of the Santo Nino de Cebu.

Why mix pre-Vatican II Catholicism with politics and violence?

Please note that I am not endorsing any kind of violence in this topic. I am against violence and this is only for humor. I fight with cartoons, not with weapons.

The reason why I mix Pre-Vatican II Catholicism with politics is because of these quotes like from Pope St. Pius X, who said ''that the State must be separated from the Church is a thesis absolutely false, a most pernicious error.''

Similarly, this quote from Saint Bernard of Clairvaux is used to justify mass killings in my fan-fictions,

''Certainly pagans should not be killed if there is any other way to prevent them from oppressing and persecuting the faithful. But it is much better to kill them than to have the just ones forever under the yoke of the wicked, and bending their knees to the iniquity of the pagans.''

Note by author: I condemn unjust killings. I do not endorse any murder in the name of God, this quote is only used in my cartoons and stories to justify killing enemies.

So, reading history, the Disney-DeSantis feud, lack of Filipino characters as well as the Traditional Catholic faith all contributed to the Inkonfidensiya Kartonista.

The statements and opinions expressed in this article are solely those of the author and does not necessarily represent the views of other traditionalists or traditionalist groups like the CMRI.
