Cartoons as a baptism theme?

I remember when I was still Novus Ordoite that in 2021, I came upon tarpaulins that used cartoon themes as a baptism theme. It reminded me of my childhood. Because my favorite show at the time, Talking Tom and Friends was reaching its series finale, I decided to watch the cartoons that were used as the baptism theme. But all of it suddenly came to a halt when Typhoon Odette struck Cebu. In October 2022, I became a traditionalist who mostly read the Tradition In Action website. In February 2023, after the success of their review of Jesus Christ Superstar which is of course the blasphemous hippie musical everybody knows, I told them to review my former favorite show, Talking Tom and Friends. The review finally came in August of 2023, which you can read here: https://traditioninaction.org/Cultural/A075_Tom.htm

When the review finally came, I had just recently watched the Disney Alice in Wonderland which I had never seen since 13 years ago. Months ago I had just told the apologist from Kentucky, Steven Speray, if it was fine for trads to watch Disney films. He said I can watch it as long as the content is not immoral. I came back to watching the cartoon baptism themes in 2023. In May of 2024, to commemorate my first film, I watched Alice in Wonderland with my mom which I had first seen 14 years ago in 2010 when I was 4. Then weeks later, I sent a review of Boss Baby to Tradition in Action. Since July, I collected photos of the tarpaulins to commemorate my childhood and my grandmother until October of 2024. During my confirmation, one of the confirmands told me that it is wrong to use cartoons as a baptism theme which I agree very much, most of those who did that were Novus Ordo baptisms.

Finally in November, the review of Boss Baby came out, which you can read here: https://www.traditioninaction.org/movies/072_Bos.htm. I even thanked TIA for the reviews. One of the cartoons which was a baptism theme here in my country was that of my old favorites, Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, which you can see in the picture and which I watched as a 4 year old.

So, the final conclusion, should trads use a cartoon as a baptism theme?

No, because it destroys the grandeur of the sacrament of baptism.

You can watch the old Disney films, but do not use it as a baptism theme.

And also, I want to thank the Santo Nino de Cebu, for giving me a good childhood,  my late grandmother Leonarda and to that of the voice actresses of Snow White and Alice, Adriana Casselotti (rest in peace) and Kathy Beaumont. It is a coincidence that Adriana died on the feast of Santo Nino on Jan. 19, 1997.

Santo Nino de Cebu, Patron of Children, intercede for us!
