He was my grandmother's priest in the 1950s. My grandmother used to attend the Latin Mass with him in the Santo Nino Church. He used to be the former parish priest of Bolhoon in Southern Cebu from 1922 - 1948 and was assigned in the Santo Nino Church from 1948 until his death in 1979. In 1984, he converted to Catholicism under the Lithuanian priest Father Stanislaus Mazeika, MIC. Fr. Stanislaus Mazeika, MIC Father Mazeika was a traditionalist priest from Lithuania. When Vatican II struck, he was not tainted with it due to the communist restrictions of Western information in the Soviet Union.
